To Our Oasis Community Members:
As you may be aware, the Damask upgrade has received a successful governance vote from node operators, with turnout over 88% and 100% of votes cast in favor. The upgrade is scheduled for April 11, 2022. The Oasis Network (including both the Consensus and ParaTime layers) will halt around 08:30 UTC on April 11 and will resume once validators representing two thirds of stake in the consensus committee have completed the upgrade and are back online.
The following services will be unavailable during the upgrade:
-Wallets
-Oasis Wallets - Web and Browser Extension
-Third-party wallets and custody providers, e.g., BitPie, Anchorage, Copper, etc.
-Block explorers, e.g. OasisScan and Emerald Block Explorer
-ParaTimes, i.e., Emerald ParaTime and Cipher ParaTime
-On-chain transactions within any DApps that run on the Emerald or ---Cipher ParaTime
